Past Projects

Press Box Project - We helped to build a press box on NNU's baseball field in honor of former member, Gil Craker.

Juniper Ranch -  We raised money for chairs, benches, picnic tables and fishing gear for Juniper Ranch, a facility that aids veterans.

Vision Charter School - We donated funds to Vision Charter School's R.A.D. Choir Program.

College Church Community Park - We raised money for playground equipment at College Church Community Park.

Syringa House - This home for girls 12 - 18 is located in Nampa, Idaho and offers specialized treatment through positive peer groups, family counseling, life-space counseling, behavior management, therapeutic recreation and special education. Our club club hosted spaghetti feeds with the girls, mentored them and included some girls in our club projects (i.e. road cleanup, pancake feeds).

Vocational Avenue of Service  - We toured many businesses including  the Amalgamated Sugar Factory, Carpenter Screen Printing, Fish and Game facility.  We honored office staff by inviting them to a special breakfast meeting.

Notus School District - Notus may have the smallest school district in Canyon County but they have a lot of heart! We adopted the Notus School District when they were one of the first districts to develop a senior portfolio requirement. To aid Notus in their new program our members conducted practice job interviews, served as judges for senior project review, and brought students to come to breakfast once a year to see business people in a service club atmosphere.
